nemat Posted November 22, 2003 Share Posted November 22, 2003 greetings... i recovered by stolen 93 ls400. the ignition switch housing is broken. i am trying to change it, all i see there are two pins that hold it in place. can anyone tell me how to take it out. thanks. tansupplyman Posted November 22, 2003 Share Posted November 22, 2003 Don't know exactly what you mean by 'housing', but the plastic piece[squarish] surrounding the ignition switch is held on by 4 clips--2 at bottom and 2 at top. nemat Posted November 25, 2003 Author Share Posted November 25, 2003 thanks again. where did you get this info. is it the repair manual? i do not see any screws for attachents, it has just two pins and on the side it is in the stearing column and in the back is tied to wiring with tie.
