front seat problems

Hi. was hoping someone can help with a front seat hassle with my 91 ls400.The backrests on both seats refuse to tilt,everything else works ok.The drivers seat is at least set in a comfortable position but the passenger seat is stuck in the extreme upright position.Is there anyway of manually moving the backrest to a more suitable position,I would settle for that for the time being but even better would be to get the thing working again so any advice would be much appreciated.Thanks

It sounds like either a connection to the backrest is disabled or the motor to both of them might be out. I am not aware of any manual solutions to adjust them, but your car might have a different setup compared to the ones sold in the states. A speed-shop might be able to tell you in more details whether thats plausable. Sorry I couldn't help
