jragosta Posted September 12, 2003 Posted September 12, 2003 Trade-In ValuesYear Make Model Series Body Style 1994 LEXUS ES300 N/A 4D SEDAN Based on the kilometers entered and the options selected, your vehicle's classification is appraised as: Below Average. Depending on your vehicle's condition, the value may be appraised within the High and Low range. * less Reconditioning Costs Low: $4,034.00 High: $6,284.00 Try: http://www.edmunds.com/tmv/used/index.html.....used.utmv.1.* Edmunds claims to offer actual prices that cars are sold for - not estimates. Based on 94 Lexus ES300, I didn't have mileage, but you said 19,000 km/year, so I put in 100,000 miles: In average condition, trade-in value is $4857. Private party sale is $5,745. Dealer Retail is $7,254. (they actually give you a $100 credit for the mileage). They offer tips on determining condition which is one of the major factors to consider. Bottom line is that trade-in values on older cars stink.
piggyncsu Posted September 12, 2003 Posted September 12, 2003 at kbb.com i got a trade in value of $3,400......i said average on the car, i mean.....i dunno whats wrong with the car, so i can't gauge what to call it. for private party sale i got $4,775...*sigh* stupid car.

amf1932 Posted November 24, 2003 Posted November 24, 2003 NeiLtYmE, Look at the date of the original post in this thread. (Sep 12 2003, 02:15 AM). LOC's database was corrupted, so you should check the dates of posts that you respond to, otherwise, as in this case your answer will be very much out of date. It seems that ALL the posts in every thread from the middle of September until October 21st. are gone forever. :(
