aarman4 Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 i read on some sites that 1st gen LS400 drinks only 9 and 12 litters/ 100km (city - highway) mine does it heavily with 22 litters /100km constantly so far in city and around 16l/100km highwaygiven that average speed in city is about 20 mph and 40 mph for the so-called highway does the car has any problem or the milage is okay at that average speed? btw, my '90 ls400 just did nearly 90k miles. and i am running with check engine light on for oxygen sensor I believe the fuel tank has about 80-87 liters of capacity, so, at your rate, you will only get about 400 km's on a tank... Thats VERY low, I drove mostly highway for 2000 km's 2 weeks ago and was getting about 700-850 km's per tank depending on the area I was driving and the speed.
aarman4 Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 what was your approx. average speed? i was going 90-100 km/h in the mountains with high lopes and curvy roads, followed by 110-125 km/h on the flat open prairies.
qha_vn Posted November 14, 2007 Author Posted November 14, 2007 so speed makes the difference. in city, always stop and go, highway 60km/h average :-(
