killahump21 Posted October 16, 2007 Share Posted October 16, 2007 i just bought a pair of alpine subs and a punch amplifier and i was wondering what type of door mounted speaker would be best for this set up. So that the sound is equal to or louder than the bass. Thanks. oh and my car make is an 02 is 300 if that has anything to do with it. bulldog5150 Posted October 16, 2007 Share Posted October 16, 2007 DID YOU REPLACE YOUR HEAD UNIT AS WELL. IF YOU DID THEN DID YOU REWIRE YOUR DOOR SPEAKERS AND BYPASS THE FACTORY AMPLIFIER. IF YOU DID THERE IS YOUR PROBLEM, IF NOT SIMPLY TURN DOWN THE BASS ON THE STERIO DECK AND TURN THE AMP TO A LOWER SETTING. YOU DONT NEED IT ON HIGH IF ALL YOUR LOOKING FOR IS GOOD SOUND.
