kalasend Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 My car is missing the owners manual. And I have difficulty figuring out how to use the seat memory function. Here's what I tried: 1) set the right pos for myself 2) while pressing [sET], press [1] for a while. Heard a Beep. Release Sounds like I made it remember.....now I mess around with the settings. But nothing happens when I press the [1] button... How should I use this function?

kalasend Posted August 28, 2007 Author Posted August 28, 2007 I checked there but did not find any info regarding seat position buttons. Perhaps it was not there in 2002?
smooth1 Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 The seat position memory came out in the 04-05 models. If you have an automatic, the key must be in the "on" position, and the transmission in park. If you have the manual tran, then the key must be "on" and the parking brake has to be applied. You set the memory correctly. So I would move the seat around and then open the door, close it, put the key in and start the car, then hit 1 and it should return to the memorized postion.
flop170 Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 maybe your car has short term memory loss.... hehe :P
