Has anybody had problems with these tires? Lexus of Massapequa charged $483

to replace tire. Stated I must of hit pothole to cause this damage. I don't

expect a tire with 8,000 miles to separate from the rim and since the car is a 2005

I believe it is defect and that Lexus of Massapequa knows about this as well as the

Lexus main office. They have refused to do anything. They didn't tell me when I

bought the car that there wasn't a warranty on the tires or that there was a option

to replace these tires. I have read on the net that BMW,Toyota, and Acura know about

these tires and their problems. BMW is replacing the tires at no additional charge

I bought this car because I wanted a sports car (One that goes fast) But I

can't because of defective tires (Blowouts reported at high speeds). I have been

a loyal customer of Lexus of Massapequa for over 15 years(10 cars) and

recommended them to many friends. I guess they don't care about repeat business!!.

It's not the money it's the way I was treated. BMW here I come

I would never buy the Turanza series - the Potenza's are so much better it's not even funny - But if your dealer won't replace the tires for free, find another Lexus/Toyota dealer and explain your situation. I work in sales, and I know that most dealers will bend over backwards if it means gaining a loyal customer.
