Stepan Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 I have a 2000 Lexus ES300. I recently changed the rear hubs with bearings but kept the original brake pads. The traction-off light turned on after that and hasn't turned off since. Does anyone know what this issue could be?

But it is probably it is that to tire size changed and it may need to be recalibrate. On my other car when I changed to winter tires the VSC would not turn on. That my best guess. good luck
Toysrme Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 why don't you check the code and find out.... since you did hub work i would bet you knocked a wheel speed sensor out of alignment, or broke one of their cables.
