JRRRRRR Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 I'm a new owner (5 months) of a 2004 CPO GS300. It came to me in pristine condition and I have maintained that condition. I am saddened by a crack in the piping trim around the drivers seat. There is a 1/8" separation in this trim. I would expect and have seen such a deterioration on 1960 Cadillacs. I am dismayed to see it happening on a 2004 Lexus. Is this a common issue? Can it be repaired? Do I take it to Lexus for repair? I am eager to hear from anyone with information on this problem. Thanks! JRRRRRR
CarbonGS Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 it is very common. you can take it to an interior and trim shop to re-pipe. shouldn't be more than $50 for that which you have described.
