Could you guys provide me with some feedback about quiet exhausts with decent HP gains? And how do they sound? How loud is the Apexi N1 with silencer?

This is a pretty common question in here. So I'll tell it to ya like this. The more the performance gain, the louder the exhaust. I have yet to hear a dyno proven 20 hp gain exhaust system that sounds like stock. So, you have to decide what performance gain you can stand to listen to.

The Apexi N1 I heard was an a Honda Accord SE. At idle it was descent. Say if on a scale of 1-10, stock is a 1, then the Apexi sounded like a 2, maybe 2 1/2. And under normal throttle, if stock was a 2, then I would say it was a 3, maybe 4. But when he got "on" it, if stock was a 3, the Apexi was a 6. Remember, this was on a Honda, and I think he had headers on it also.
