I have to transport some long fragile panels that are a couple of feet wide. I want to know if removing the seat back of an '05 ES330 will allow me to pass a few panels through from the trunk into the cabin? Thanks

The problem is that after you remove the rear seats there are metal structural reinforcements that would block putting in these panels.

amf is correct,

if you have ever done your rear speakers you would know

when you take your seats off, theres this huge metal X thats there and theres some other things beghind that and your trunk also

it would be the biggest painin the rear.

Rent a uhaul

less time and probley save you from a headeche

or pay a friend 20$ to use his truck

You can take it off. It just unbolts.

It's one of the changes between a Camry becoming an ES/windom. They wanted to tie the rear frame together and make one of those 2% better modifications. So they gave us a rear strut tower chassie X brace from the factory. You'd honestly never know it wasn't there if you took it off.

But I would put it back on after you're done.

And cover ALL the leather with a blanket.
