Corrosion

is it possible that battery corrosion can create cracks or holes in the air intake tube? I recently replaced this (like 6 months ago) and now I'm back to the same crap of having a bad idle... I was also wondering if the knock sensors could be at fault of the poor idle.

well it's right by it so ya you could crack it if you were really really bnging around i guess.

take the main air intake off the car & check it for cracks where you can REALLY bend it around and see. it's about like an enigne mount. unless it's an obvious crack. it may not show up until it's under slight compression.
