JETSFAN Posted July 16, 2007 Share Posted July 16, 2007 WHEN MY CAR IS LWO ON FUEL, A YEELOW LIGHT COMES ON UDNER THE EMPTY IN MY FUEL GUAGE. BUT I DO NOT RECIVE AN AUDIBLE WARNING. Rx330driver Posted August 3, 2007 Share Posted August 3, 2007 yeh its true, but sometimes its unavoidable. its cause over time, gunky stuff fills up in the tank that floats. So when it goes down that low (even though there is a filter) the gunk will start to get closer to the filter. just as a precaution, wouldnt want anything to get through. Find out for yourself for your particularly vehicle by filling your tank after the low fuel indicator lights up and then subtract the amount you add from the tank capacity shown in your owners manual.
