NausetDog
I'm going to install a towing hitch on my 2002 LS430 that has 76,000 miles on it to tow a 13' Boston Whaler. Will be used mostly for maybe six to eight 5- 30 mile round mile trips/year + maybe two - three 200 mile round trips/year. Do you think it's a good idea to install a transmission intercooler? My Lexus dealer doesn't install them. My Lexus has been 100% maintained w/ every single recommended service always done. I've also heard switching over to a 100% synthetic transmission oil is a good idea. Any other service tips? Thanks, NausetDog
bicol-ini
hi, ive got a 96 LS i installed a B&M tranny cooler on mine sometime ago, also i replaced my stock OEM tranny cooler on my 02 Sequoia 4WD, i think i posted it here, now i have a tranny cooler that came with my sequoia for sale if youre interested, also tranny fluid on the LS there is no aftermarket equivalent of the Toyota T-IV fluid so this is a dealer only, either lexus or toyota about 5 buck a quart give or take, ill see if i can find my previous post
