Help Needed To Remove Instrument Cluster On A 98 Lx470

All four screws are removed, but clusted will not pull out enough to reach/unplug the cables?

There are two more screws you need to remove(loosen). They are located on the bottom of the cluster next to the botom two you removed. Then you should ba able to pull it out. There is a PDF online.

11. REMOVE COMBINATION METER

(a) Disconnect the connectors.

HINT:

The connectors can be disconnected by loosening the bolts.

(B) Remove the 2 screws and bolts.

© Using a screwdriver, remove the combination meter.

HINT:

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
