Need to get it read at a dealer to see what code it is otherwise there is a way to make it flash the light but it involves taking wires and grounding them in sequence.

Several times, I have disconnected the battery for some work, and the air bag light came on. And stayed on.

Lexls is a contributor who has a great procedure for fixing this condition. Check out the search portion of this site.

Just be sure that you don't have a real problem with the air bag.

If the light went off, you should be just fine. There should be no problem with the Air Bag. I went through this same problem with a Honda Accord, too. Turned out it was the same computer glitch. Don't waste good money going to the dealer.

Best of luck.
