Emblem Fading

Have an 04 RX330 with what used to have Gold emblems. They are now fading and almost look Black - and the gold part is chipping off? It has 46,000 miles - is this covered under warranty? I would just like to replace all of them with silver if I can.

The gold is just an overcoat of thin paint. Car washes and salt will take it off with time.
