91LexusLS400 Posted March 2, 2007 Share Posted March 2, 2007 I did the power steering flush and clean and changed the air control valve while in there. The fluid is down when I check it week to week. Where's it going? Am I just getting all the air out of the system still?Everything looks dry, pump not whinning, but have to add fluid weekly for the past 2-3 weeks. Are the hoses for the air control valve port specific or can you just connect either hose to either port? Also, the steering is really easy when the car is first started, but once I'm out of my driveway the steering become stiff. I cleaned the two screens. Could it be I just need to clean again since the flush. The cars got 311,000 miles and most likely the first, maybe second flush. I want that steering feel I get when I first crank it???
