Go to the leather repair link posted on this site. They list the different color shades (my 95SC4 is red w/tan) and it seems they did have different shades for 92-95 and 96, 97, 98 and 99. Just swapped out the torn/worn tan seats from my '95 SC400 with the nice tan seats from a parted out '97 SC300 - perfect fit and color match.
