Hacking Rx330 Audio?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know if the Mark Levinson stereo has aux rca inputs? If not, does anyone know how to hack it to add rca inputs?

I would like to be able to listen to my ipod without having to use a cassette adaptor or fm transmitor.

Cheers,

If you have the rear seat DVD player, you have RCA cable inputs on the passenger side of the cargo area. My kids use it for Playstation 2 but I'm sure your IPOD would work as well. You have to keep pushing the CD selector until AUX shows on your display.

Now if I only would've purchased that rear seat theater!

BUT I'm wondering if the rear seat theater uses the same Mark Levinson stereo? If so, maybe the stereo already has the RCA plugs for the DVD. Has anyone opened up their dash? Or knows how to do it?

Cheers,

Just got an iPod and am looking for the same solution. Would like to connect the iPod directly to the RX330 Mark Levinson Audio system, but I don't have the rear DVD System. It's been a while since the original post, so I'm hoping by now, someone has found the answer.

I seriously doubt it, because you'd have to have some way to turn on this external audio source - and I haven't seen any button or function that brings up "AUX" on the screen. (I have a 2004 w/Levinson)
