Anyway, never take your car to a new car dealership for repairs or maintenance unless it is free and still under warranty.... The only positive that comes from taking your Lexus to a new car dealership is that they will be using true OEM parts that's it......Other then that it is a total rip off.... I have found that some import repair shops are just as knowledgeable as the any dealership repair center... Find one that's been around for a while... Find a local good import repair shop near you and take your car to them...Ask in advance for any replacement parts, also tell them your your here to save money and not pay dealership prices, and lastly tell them you will be looking over any repair they do for legitamacy... There is no disagreement on whether one is more knowledgeable than the other or one fixes your car “better.” Bottom line: It boils down to your personal and work life and whichever choice is more convenient for you, even if it comes at a greater price.
