Door Lock Programming? Just Through The Dealer?

Hi I am wondering if the only way my 2002 LX can be programmed for the door locks to engage when in drive and unlock in park is some thing the dealer can only do? Does anyone know also if the parking break wire is bypassed will the dvd still not come on when in drive. Thanks for all your help :-D.

Dealer only for programming (the LC programming instructions don't work). There are two wires you need to modify to watch the dvd while moving. I think they are the parking brake and speed wires. Do a search here on or clublexus. It's been done and documented.

I do not believe the door locks can be programmed on the 02. They can be on the 03 model.
