I flushed and cleaned my power steering screens and the steering is better. The problem is that the steering is REALLY easy at cold start up (I think the way it's supposed to feel) and within a minute or two it gets stiffer again. Not as bad as before I cleaned it up, but stiffer. I cleaned the solenoid screen, but I don't think I got it as clean as I should have. It's very hard to clean (brake cleaner just bounces off), almost like the dirt/debris is magnetized to the solenoid. What cleaners can I use to try it again? Can I use an old toothbrush if I'm careful?

Are there any tutorials on how to do the soleniod screen?

Yes, that's how I did mine. I just dipped it into the bucket of drained fluid, brushed, dipped, brushed, repeated until clean.
