99 Gs300 Radio Upgrade - Lexus Radio Options

Just purchased my second 99 GS300 and the readout on the radio is jacked up - typical from what I understand. I've read up on getting it fixed (removing the radio myself and shipping it off), but I'm not sure I want to. I want to install a satellite radio but I'm not a huge fan of wires hanging inside the car. In addition, the radio reception kinda sucks and if the plug-and-play satellite goes through an FM frequency, I'm worried the sound will suffer.

ARE THERE ANY NEWER LEXUS RADIOS THAT ARE COMPATIBLE WITH MY CAR?? For example, one that has satellite controls integrated into it already (I know I still have to run an antenna). I know I can go aftermarket, but that opens up another can of worms. I'm not totally against it, but I'd rather not. Please help! Thanks.
