Jump Starting

Hey guys, been a while since I've posted, but I got a quick question about jump starting.

So, as I just found out, a lot of people have misconceptions about jump starting and the #1 issue I have noticed is that a lot of people(including me!) put the black/negative terminal on the negative terminal of the dead battery. However, fromwhat I have read this is a no-no. So, I have a picture here and was wondering where is a good source to put my negative terminal on for a 92 LS 400?

why is it a no ?

You are applying the cables to mimic the voltage of a battery ,thus you would apply it in the same place. The only no no is not to have the good battery car running at the same time to power the dead one. If your battery can start your car it can start the other one as well.
