I figured a super glue might not work because of high stress handling all day. thanks for the help. I have used super glue on an older VW remote where metal met plastic and it didn't hold. Plastic on plastic may be OK. It's worth a shot. If you fix it then good. If not then you're right back where you started less a few bucks for glue. You could always find a replacement on eBay.
