Pursuit
Hey guys I just purchased an 02' Pearl white ULTRA package LS430 last week. I bought it from a Lexus dealer here in Miami and they recommended I do the 60K mile service when the time comes. (It has 45,000 now). Has anyone done this? What do they do to it and is it worth the $1,100 dollars?:whistles:
RFeldes
The details are in your manual..and yes, I recommend you have the dealer do the major maintenance periods as it will pay off in peace of mind as well as resale value down the road. ;)

TM8000
I purchased Lexus Certified Pre-Owned 2003 GX470(not LS) at 51,500 mi on 9/9/06, and I just paid $650 for 60K mi check yesterday. It makes me feel safety. I do not think that $650 is cheap at all but this additional cost is a kind of insurance to me .
Pursuit
Thanks for the replies. I am of course going to do the maintenace it recommends, I just didnt know how DIY it was and if paying the dealer was worth it. The only complication I see is the differential fluid and total tranny flush. I may not have the tools to get that far into it. Also what kind of oil are you guys using because I am a die-hard MOBIL 1 fan but I wasnt sure if the LS is ok with synthetic.
