Streering Wheel Won't Go Up And Down

:chairshot: THE STEERING WHEEL WON'T GO UP AND DOWN WHEN I USE THE SWICTH ON THE COLUM. IT WILL GO IN AND OUT. I DON'T THINK IT'S ON ANOTHER FUSE. DOES ANYBODY HAVE A CLUE AS TO WHAT CAUSES THIS?

I had the same problem. The fix was very simple. If I remember corectly, all I used was a long phillips screwdriver & a rubber washer. The kind that goes in the end of a garden hose. This should take you to the thread on this site.

I did the same thing but with a metal washer from true value hardware. That is a good article and should work as long as the motor didn't give out. Do you hear the motor running when you try to move it up and down? If you do, this should work. Its a common problem and the gear gets out of sync with the screw attached to the motor causing them not to connect.
