JDOwen2
Anyone have their automatic transmission rebuilt? I'm curious as to what it would cost for my 95 SC300. It feels like it has a shift kit in it. Also leaps into gear after I back out of the driveway and shift into drive.
jzz30
if you take off your trans by your self then its ffairly cheap i got one of my trans fixed for about 350 pieces of green paper but the big money will hit you if they do every thing. JPI
Tranny on the sc is an easy job. Probably take you about 4hrs. You need a lift and a transmission jack. Do not rebuilb the tranny by yourself. JPI
pacoson
Does any of us know what the aprox time might be to change the tourque converter in a 94 SC-400? The parts are cheap enough? but hrly the $$ rises quickly!

erick1992sc
so im getting my transmission repaired and also my rack and pinion at the same time for 1700 is that a fair price i have a 92sc400 main issue was my reverse wasnt working properly it would take a good 30 to 40 seconds for the reverse gear to actually engage and the rack and pinion has obvious wear and does need replacement so i know theyre not just throwing in extra stuff.
