jasp615 Posted October 23, 2006 Share Posted October 23, 2006 I have a new 06 GX 470 and I read that it has a 23 gallon tank yet when I fill my truck up the gauge in the dash that tells you miles till you need to fill up is 279 yet the website will say 345-435 is with a filled tank. The computer actually "looks" at your driving habits (measured in terms of mpg) and uses historical data to predict how long you will get with the amount of fuel in the tank. If you drive with mpg considerations...slower starts, lower top speed, etc. you will find your predicted miles to empty wil change. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
