xlqp111
How many Lexus owners out there use regular? I heard premium was a scam and regular wouldn't hurt your vehicle if you start off using regular from the beginning. Is this true or is someone just feeding me BS! GuyTelefunken
I use premium as well. I will admit that I have used mid-grade in a pinch and suffered no problem. Our cars can adjust to lower grades, but I feel they are premium vehicles and they deserve premium fuel. Different grades of fuel ignite at different temperatures and compressions. By using the appropriate grade of fuel, the ECU can adjust properly for any engine load. By using the wrong grade, the window of adjustment becomes smaller and optimum fuel economy and power output can suffer. Also IMHO, it makes no difference whatsoever what grade you start out with. I personally have never seen any data supporting that theory.
Lex01_430
my opinion...use the premium. you have an expensive car so spend the extra $2.00 per tank just incase
anthonyiez
premium...use 91 if you can find it. everything around here is 93. if you have to worry about premium prices, well then.....
