Bad Wheel Bearing--lexus Wants $952 To Replace?

Hello,

So it looks as if I have a bad wheel bearing, rear left to be precise. I took the car to my local dealership to see if they could figure out what was going on and they said they think my wheel bearings gone bad. First off, they think??? Next, they want almost 1K to fix it? This seems a bit high--what do you guys think? Should I take it to bigo or some place like that? By the way, the car is an 01 gs430 with 124K on her. By the way again, thanks to SKPERFORMANCE and ANTHONYIEZ for helping to diagnose this problem!

The bearing is $75.00 and it takes about 2.5 hours to replace. I wish I could make $300.00 an hour! :o

Get a quote from a Toyota dealer. Access to same parts, lower labor rates.
