hkydds
I just got the RX 350 two weeks ago and I can't get my Treo 650 to connect properly with the car. I updated the firmware for the Treo from verizon and I was able to connect the phone to the car via bluetooth. The problem is that the connection is not maintained. When I first start the car, I get a message on the nav screen saying "Bluetooth connection successful" but after about 30 seconds or so, the connection is dropped. I called Verizon tech support and they said they couldn't help me and transferred me to Palm tech support. Palm tech support told me that they couldn't do anything about it and told me to call lexus. I called lexus and they told me to call verizon... somebody help please...
Richard Carver
Ask at mytreo.net or treocentral.com, if there's an answer they'll have it.
lmarie
I have a Treo 700p with Verizon. I'd read that it was unsupported on the RX 350 so I didn't expect it to work. But it set up quickly and easily and so far (all 3 days I've owned the car) it's worked perfectly. I leave the phone in my purse and make handsfree calls, I'm loving it. GAJeff
I just got an 2008 RX 350 and had the same prolem with my Sprint Treo 650. Like you checked Lexus and Sprint to no avail. Then checked Palm Treo website and saw that a new update was available. Even though it said it didn't address my particular Lexus issue, the update allowed full pairing and all bluetooth function. Just be sure to follow the update instructions exactly. Be sure that you have your power cable, not the USB cable attached when they instruct you to...if you don't the update will not take. Good luck.
