Paul Sherman
Hi all; My 93 LS400 is acting a bit sluggish (suspect it's time for a tune up and throttle body cleaning). As we have four vehicles, three houses and I travel on business, I simply don't have time to do much of the work myself. Hence, I need a mechanic to do what I can't. I don't want to use the dealer for the reasons you all have mentioned before, plus neither one is near where I work or live. I checked the forum and found one name, but when I tried to contact him, I got no response. So, can anyone recommend a Lexus mechanic in the south St. Louis area? kmax
Paul, Any luck in finding a mechanic in the St. Louis area? If not, who do you take it to? I'm in the St. Charles area and my 91 LS400, 109K miles, seems to have sprung the infamous power steering leak! :cries: Hi all; My 93 LS400 is acting a bit sluggish (suspect it's time for a tune up and throttle body cleaning). Paul Sherman
Hi kmax; No luck finding an independent specialist in St. Louis yet. I hear there's an indy Toyota guy on the Hill, but haven't found them yet to see if they handle Lexus as well. At this point, I'm a combo of DIY and my regular mechanic, with a run to Gravois Radiator for my A/C in 2005... When/if I find one, I'll post it for the other St. Louis area members. Paul I realize this isn't south St. Louis but I have my 98 LS 400 worked on by AM Clark in Webster Groves, 961-7500. They did the timing belt, water pump, etc. for much less than the dealer.
