dario Posted August 30, 2006 Posted August 30, 2006 I have a 1993 GS 300 with 210 000 miles and when I drive the radio keps turning off and on and car has some kind of power loss when I start him like the battery low but would that turn my radio off/on? I just did change spark plugs, wires, rotor cap and right after that this started happening would that have any connections with tune up I did?
Steve Posted August 31, 2006 Posted August 31, 2006 hi The spark plugs and HT leads will have nothing to do with the radio. Have you had the battery tested?
ricomr Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 You may also want to have your alternator tested.
Fabulous Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 I had the same problem, my amp was draining the battery and was It low on power. Battery issue for a sure thing. I just bought one of these Optima high performance battery. Works really great!!!
aznviet6uy Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 is your radio one of the aftermarket decks? if it is, then the deck wires might have been put in wrong, this happened to me, it could also be from alternator or distrbutator.
droppedlexus Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 wow I have this same problem, can't find a fix for it......my next option is to change the altenator
idgod1 Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 check your cat convertors. a clogged cat will rob power from batt and car.
