tofuli Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 Hello! I have a 1992 SC300 that has a leaking power steering pressure hose. It's spraying the fluid on the rubber part, not the joint, so I'm guessing I have to replace the whole hose... If I go to an autoshop, the guy is charging me $499 just for the hose! :o But I heard that I can get the hose made and it'll be much much cheaper. Does anybody know anyone who can make that for me here in Florida? More specifically either in the Melbourne area or the Daytona Beach area? Any info will be very much appreciated
TexasComputerMan Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 The dealer will charge you a lot. Look in your yellow pages for your area and find a hydralic hose repair shop. I found one here in the Dallas area and they fixed my high pressure hose for about $50.00. Search on High pressure hose to see the full thread.
