AriestoDiamond
HI there I am currently in the market to get some of these lights. From what I hear they are real easy to change and only take a few minutes to change. The wires that are currently on your GS will reach the holes on the new light but you usually get bulbs and wires when you buy a set and only have to unclip and clip on the new harness. You can go to http://www.lexusgrill.com/prod_gs.html. Copy and paste to your address bar, scroll down the page about 3 quarters the way. They are selling them for $380.00 with $40 dollars shipping. You know what goes real good with those tail lights? The chrome grill they sell for 250 on that site. I already got it on my car and it looks crazy. Good Luck
bluelex
thats way too high. i paid 330.00 4 he lights from the dealer. changing the lights is easy nothing major needed, just 3 10mm bolts 2 remove.. when u get the lights u'll need 2 get the upgraded wire hareness which is like 30.00 bucks more. its just a plug and play swap.. about 15min 2 change, they fit perfect
Blk on Blk GS 300
Just so you don't walk out to your car with just a 10mm wrench and get pist, bring a modest sized philips and a flat head. If you don't have a flat head I found that the tip of your Lexus key works just dandy to take the two black caps off that you will see on the inner side of the tailights (towards the center of the vehicle) on the outside once you open your trunk that will expose the two philips head screws (which could also be taken off with a socket I guess). But bluelex is right, takes no time at all, just the same amount of time to change one freaking bulb, but I love Lexus ya know?

hkgs300
Can you post some pics? How many bulbs are included? I heard that the new tail light has 4 bulbs and the old one 3 bulbs, so not do I need to do splicing to have all of them work?
bluelex
no both lens carry 4 bulbs.. u will need the 2001-up wire hareness cus the reverse bulb is different on the new tails. just get the new hareness which plugs out and plug in the new hareness than u'll b able 2 plce the bulbs in their prober place on the new lens.. no splicing... vanzant78
I called around some junk yards and found a pair for $200 and they look like new. It was easy to change, just plug in the new one.
