russoturristo Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 Just wondering how high are the miles on your GS300/400?
eskaeone Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 my good ol' GS 400 has 124,0000 and still runs lika a monster
suspence Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 my good ol' GS 400 has 124,0000 and still runs lika a monster I have 137K, best car ever owned. I had a 300 MB before my GS400. Will never go back!
CitationCapt Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 My GS400 has 147,700 miles on it. Black/black, regular service and very strong. My best vehicle ever.
idgod1 Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 My 93 GS 300 has 224,000 miles the only problem so far is a broken crank pulley.
Witty38 Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 My 1994 GS300 has 151,000 miles on it and going strong. Usual maintenance issues. No major repairs. Use regular gas most of time with special liquid reformulator which cleans engine and burns clean. Also use MobilOne, 10-30, and change oil every 8,000 miles. Getting 23 mpg. I get junk mail from local Lexus dealer here in So Calif wanting me to buy newer model, but why buy a new one when this thing rides like a small boat, is safe, reliable and still looks new?
Power Pack Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 java script:emoticon(':)',%20'smid_11') 142,000 mi. Still perfect!
pmf Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 Just out of curiosity, how many of you with >100,000K on your GS400 had followed exact maintainance schedule as the Lexus manual & had your timing belt changed? My '98 would probably qualify for the lowest mileage but intend to keep it for the reliability. This past summer I had a friend who drives a MB (5-series I believe) visited from Canada & he kept commenting on how quiet the Lexus is c/w his MB. I didn't even bother to brag about it's reliability. A colleague who bought a BMW 745 the same time I got the GS & that thing had been nothing but problem (averaging twice a year) for him with the car @ times being kept days in the dealership waiting for parts from Germany. PF
BjCaleb Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 My 98' GS300 has 131k....Im thinking it could run for 300k>
Wicked_Lex Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 2000 GS400 @125K and it purrs like a kitten. Recently I decided to keep it another 3-4 years or until it has 200K which ever comes first.
oaktodd Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 My 99 has 161,000. Change oil & filter every 5000 with regular 5w30. I think this car will easily go 300,000 1
The Josh Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 New to the board. Bought mine with 112k. Runs like a champ!
javier Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 Last year in November I bought a 01 GS 430 with 86k and it rides like a new car. I love this car!!!!!!! Currently it has 88,030 miles.
stroked4.6 Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 Ive got a whole 60K miles on my 93 GS300 (just bought the car).
MaxxDaddy Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 98 GS400 with 212k. I think I saw one post with higher miles but that was for a 93. Girl that had the care before me drove the daylights out of it but it still runs GREAT. I have completed basic maint since purchasing( including the timing belt only because I could not validate last completion). Most people that have beenin the car assume it is much newer. Great cars that should bring us many years of enjoyment. 1
sh0t0kan Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 98 gs 400 240,011 the motors on these cars are bulletproof
EdtheBruin Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 about 77,000 miles (...'99 GS400; still 'cherry' wouldn't you say (?))
