I'm am on the verge of ordering an 07 is250 stickshift, but was unable to testdrive a stick because my dealer does not stock them but just takes orders (the auto was kick@$$ tho). I will only get this car in a stick, so, I would like to hear from those of you who have the manual about your impressions of the transmission and the clutch. You know, its smoothness, if it makes odd noises like clicking or anything, how it compares to past sticks you've driven, etc. Also, if someone could either point me in the direction of a thread with an image of the shifter, a link to an image, or even just take a pic a post it, that would be sweet.

Thanks a ton in advance for all you responses.

(hehe... this is my first post on a car owners club website for 4 years, back when i owned an rsx)

(also, in my lengthy research of this car in various places, including consumer reports, people continuously complained about the "small" size of the rear seats......uhhh... what?!? :censored: I'm 6'2" with legs that stretch out to next week and even after adjusting the drivers seat to fit me comfortably there was still enough room for me sit behind it with little to complain about. those liars!)

Thanks chips. I found a pic actually in the US forum. Here is the link for other curious folk like myself:

(I also attached it.. I think)

When I was at the dealer yesterday and was in the auto, I noticed the p-brake was foot operated. So I asked the salesman if it was like that in the manual... and he said yes!!!??? Another liar! Good thing I'm gunna be pickin it up in LA instead of Oakland. I am super stoked about my future car. I hate having to wait, especially when it'll take 2 or 3 months, and when I'm ready now.

I am still also very interested in what other manual drivers think of the tranny. So. please. bring it on!
