Mugs47 Posted August 8, 2003 Posted August 8, 2003 Like many others I'm convinced I need to deep six my run flats and also think about a spare. Does anyone know if I really need the conversion kit that my dealer claims is necessary? I'm getting prices from $600 to over $800 for the spare and conversion kit. The spare is only a little over $100 and it certainly looks like it should fit into the wheel well in the trunk.
AWJ Posted August 8, 2003 Posted August 8, 2003 I don't know if it is absolutely required. Maybe you can get away without it. Only way to know is to try. It won't hurt I'd imagine to hold off on the kit and just making the spare fit with creativity. You can always buy the kit later eh?
Mugs47 Posted August 8, 2003 Author Posted August 8, 2003 Yeah, I've come to the same conclusion that I should get the spare and worry about conversion kits later. Can't wait to get rid of the run craps.
