Turk Posted June 25, 2006 Share Posted June 25, 2006 I am happy to say now i own (2) Lexus SC300's one is a 1992 5-speed with 220K miles (Project car) and the other one is a 1993 SC300 automatic with 142K miles. I love both of them very much. Just had a simple ???'S I want to do an JDM engine swap but i don't know which one? 1JZ-GTE OR 2JZ-GTE Which one is easier? Does anyone have write ups? jzz30 Posted June 29, 2006 Share Posted June 29, 2006 both are the same level of difficulty. but why jdm?unless you want a 1j go with a usdm 2j becasue it has bigger injectors so you can push the stock turbos a little harder than jdm if you want shear power go with the 2j. if you like the sound of the 1j(which i do) then go with that!
