waf102
I have come to believe that these Falkens are a real price/performance winner. But I gotta ask, how do they look? They seem a little too low profile to look "classy on" an LS400. Sure, my Contiextreme's had a crappy sidewall, but that was only if your were really paying attention. (BTW...I really liked those...anybody have had both?...how do they compare?) Does any one have (or can take) pics of them on your car and can post them? That might help win me over all the way. (Plus...anybody know who has the best prices on 'em?) Thanks. Bill 90 ls400

blake918
You might want to rethink those Falkens. There are a few not so stellar reviews of them from Lexus owners in this forum. They are cheap for a reason. :whistles:
SW03ES
I have to agree, while they'll be fine new I think you'll quickly become dissapointed in them as they age.

As a performance tire, they are great. but put about 15K on them, they lose alot of their wet weather ability. they are cheap, and they do remain quiet and comfortable throughout their life, road noise doesnt seem to increase...i have an escort, if road noise increased, i would definately hear it LOL. they are an EXCELLENT choice for a car like mine or my wifes. especially my wife's, with her pedal-never-more-than-halfway-down driving style, they are well suited to her AWD matrix. But if you have any type of lead foot at all, and you want a tire that will last a long time, rethink your options.
Lexusfreak
Agreed, Don't use the Falkens on your LS.......you will be disappointed in the long run. ;)
