Seeking Sc300 Sunroof Advice

On my 93 SC300, the sunroof will open, every time. Hit the switch and it opens. The roof opens at a good clip, no slow down or anything.

But, it doesn't close easily. Toggle the switch and nothing happens. No noise, no grinding, nothing.

After toggling a number of times (think 30-50), the roof will suddenly catch, and close easily.

I've taken the switch apart, and everything there looks clean and good contact.

Hope that someone here has ran into this issue, and can provide some troubleshooting ideas.
