I got the same strut bar. When i had it on, the engine seem to be restricted because the strut bar was in the way. Every time i reversed, there would be a big clank because the engine manifold hits the bar. It wears away the lining under the hood too. Since then i took the bar off. If you put it on, tell me how well it works.

that is how they made those types of round bars

mine is not like that and fits prefectly

with yours

all you have to do is buy a few washers

place one at a time and try it to get the clearance needed

mainly on the inner most nut only

then it should clear fine

So did you buy this front strut bar? If so, how did it work for you? I have been considering a similar strut bar and would appreciate any input you may have.

yes i bought one and it works fine.good quality and very strong.i was impressed.go for it because they do make a difference!

So you bought from Autobacs1 and the bar does not clang when going into reverse, or wear on the hood lining?

I am a new (used lexus) owner and am still in that "double check everything" mode.
