jrowe
I removed the pass. seat from my '96 ES300 today. After unplugging the wiring harness for the power seat and pulling the seat out of the car I noticed that there is another unused wiring harness under the seat. Does anyone know what this is for? I am wondering if perhaps it is for the seat heaters. I know sometimes manufacturers will install features and then not hook them up unless you pay their extra charge. So I was thinking that perhaps the seat heaters have been in the seats all along but they're just not connected? Am I right? Wrong? Let me know if y'all know what the extra harness is for. Thanks. jrowe
Toysrme, does that mean there is a heater in the seat, but it's just not hooked up?
Toysrme
Nope, that means yours didn't come with them.
jrowe
ok, I get it. That's where ithe seat heater would have plugged in. Then the whole seat, heater and movement, draws power through the same plug. Thanks.
