Mass Air Flow Sensor

hello all, ive been thinking about cleaning the MAF on my 1992 ls. ive done some searches on this site and there seems to be conflicting views about about how, if at all, so no and so forth. Ive also seen the tutorial on this site but that is a later ls. So my question is, does any one have a definitive,safe procedure for doing first gen MAFs? If the guy from lexls is here, have you ever done this? would you be willing to put up a tutorial if you have?

i am not entirely sure about this but i dont' think it gets dirty enough to clean, unless of course it a very very dusty climate, but i dont see why if you don't use anything abrasive or caustic on the sensor you should be okay
