thieaux Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 I was tinckeing on my car :D, and i found a unconnected plug , i saw the light maybe this is why car doesn have power after 4000rpm, wrong it turn out to be the egr temp sensor , but what really surprised me whas the fact that i didnt get a mil , and iv been checking my dtc almost every day , and never got a egr code,, could someone shine some light ove here....

I don't know the year of your car, but the following is for a 1992: dtc71.pdf Troubleshooting the EGR system, with references to the EGR gas temp sensor. Hope it helps-

thieaux Posted January 21, 2006 Author Posted January 21, 2006 Guess what , now i have the code 71 , 6months witn the temp sensor disconnected nothing, plugged it last week got the mil last night, i've had it with this car , ill check the temp sensor to see the readings...
