Nav Questions 06 Vs 03

Two questions regarding the Nav in the 06 vs the 03. First in the 03 you could set the Nav screen to show the map on the left side and the turn by turn view on the right half of the screen simultaneously. I cannot find a way to do that on the 06. Anyone know for sure if it can or cannot be done?

Second the Nav in the 06 does not seem as accurate as the 03. Example the 03 knows our house number exactly, the 06 has the cursor in the right spot but the house number is way off. Any ideas?

the nav will be accurate up to 100 feet. During times of trouble the gov't may increase the strength of the signal. After 9/11 the Nav systems were accurate to within 10 feet.

For the other question, in the map screen near the bottom hit the icon that looks like a circle in a triangle or vice versa. That will cause 3 others to appear. One is for split screen . That should do the trick.
