Ebil Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 I have a 1996 Lexus es300. I left my house this morning and my hood looked kind of odd. My front end had been hit and pushed the passenger side headlight back about a quarter of an inch and pushed my hood about an inch back. so there was this bend about halfway up the hood. I was able to push the hood back down and I know where I can get a used one for a decent price and I am sure I can re-align my head light but my problem is I don't know where I can get those little plastic clips that hold down the rubber that covers the head lights. So any idea where I can get some more of those clips?
SKperformance Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 Any body shop can give /sell to you for a buck or 2. Also auto part stores stock them also
amf1932 Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 I would go to your friendly Lexus dealer for those parts. This way you know you'll be getting OEM parts which will fit exactly.
Toysrme Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 Bodyshop, or autoparts store. Half of mine were replaced with large zip-ties. It sounds ghetto, but in actuality, you can pull them tight enough so they hold much closer together than the clips can.
