Simple Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 2001 gs 300 Has anyone ever had this issue before? How do i fix it? could it be the sensors on the dash or something else?
GuyTelefunken Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 Check the ambient air temperature sensor, plug (for corrosion), and/or wiring harness. It's behind the front bumper. Ambient_Air_Temperature_Sensor.pdf
Simple Posted October 11, 2005 Author Posted October 11, 2005 I was also told to remove the fuse that controls that unit and replace it. Anyone know where to find that fuse?
TurboGS300 Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 I was also told to remove the fuse that controls that unit and replace it. Anyone know where to find that fuse? ← That's not what guy said! Why would a fuse have anything to do with it?? <_< Unless you're just resetting it? That still won't fix the problem, maybe only temporary.
GuyTelefunken Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 As opposed to hunting for the fuse, just disconnect the negative battery cable for 30 seconds or so. When you find that that has not done the trick, see my previous post.
Simple Posted October 24, 2005 Author Posted October 24, 2005 After searching for the darn thing...i realized the air temp sensor is missing. What? How much do they cost to replace?
